in class we had to write a news paper article and in the news article we had to put the words that were on the board, our story is called gas station brings tragedy.

Title - Digestive System Report

Your digestive system starts with your saliva going into your mouth. Then you put the food into your mouth and your saliva mixes in with the food. While you chew the food your saliva starts to break the food up into little pieces and your teeth break it down further for you to swallow.





The food you swallow goes down your throat then your oesophagus pushes your food down into your stomach. Then your food sits in your stomach and gets swished around with your stomach acid to get turned into liquid so it’s easier to digest and go down your intestines.





Your food sits in your stomach and small intestine for 6-8 hours. After that your food passes through the small intestine and your big intestine then gets through your anus, but first your energy goes in to your body and then the rest goes into the toilet.




So I know if I eat food it has to go through 10 steps before leaving my body. Also your small intestine is 20 feet and 1 inch long, and your big intestine is 5 feet and 3 inches long which is the same as 2X tane mahuta the tree in width.

Should the elderly receive free bus rides.

I completely agree that the elderly should receive free bus rides. Here are my reasons why and what they deserve.





I think that the elderly should receive free bus rides, because all elderly are on pension and most can't afford to live on what they get paid as it is because they don't work.





2. They have worked all their lives and had to pay lots of taxes and bills, so now they can't work, so they won't have much money for paying people to drive them places such as buses, taxis and trains.





3. Elderly have bought up families and have done a lot for the community and helped people with their wisdom that they share with you, so they deserve to get something back and be respected for everything they've done. The elderly are already on a limited income and it would help alleviate some of the money they have to spend. They should get free bus rides because as they reach a certain age they cannot drive anymore.





These are my 3 reasons why I think “Elderly should receive free bus rides”.These 3 reasons are all about trying to give the elderly what they deserve and to return the favour.

Should Students be Allowed to have Cellphones in School?

 

I think that students should be allowed to have phones in school because then at lunch we can text our parents or our siblings to ask if they’re ok or for lunch. If you're in trouble you need to text or call someone, as well if it was an emergency you would need to ring the cops, Mum, Dad, fire department or the Ambulance.





Cell phones in schools do far more good than bad as they prepare students for the real world, and help them learn how to be responsible.





Kids are most likely to use google calendar to put up, upcoming events such as meetings,birthdays,school camps, school cross country. There's a time and a place to go through Instagram, play Candy Crush, and take selfies. And by allowing students the freedom to keep their phones in school, they’re learning big lessons in being more responsible that it will serve them well.
